    *Lie Angle

Lie Angle manipulates the turf interaction with the sole of the club.  A lie that is too upright will lead to shots missed to the left and inconsistent ball striking.  A lie that is too flat will lead to shots missed to the right with inconsistent ball striking as well.  It is best to have the turf interaction in the middle of the sole for optimal results.

    *Loft Angle

Loft Angle can help manipulate distance as well as ball flight. A stronger loft angle will promote a lower ball flight and longer distance, while a weaker loft angle with launch the ball higher and shorter than a standard set up.

    Precision Adjustment(s)*

All precision adjustments are performed using Mitchell® Golf equipment.

    Shaft Length

Length is taken off of the grip end of the shaft and can be altered based on standard specifications. This alteration has no impact on the overall playability of the shaft.

For most iron models, manufacturers offer lighter weight heads which can be used to keep the swingweight to a standard balance for club lengths up to +1/2″ longer. Anything longer than that and the swingweight will increase above the recommended balance. (As a rough calculation, every extra 1/2″ in length will increase the swingweight by 3 balance points).

    Shaft Stepping

Shaft stepping is used when optimal shaft configuration is between flexes. Hard stepping moves the bend point of the shaft to a position where the club feels stiffer, launches lower, and spins less. Soft stepped shafts promote a higher ball flight, more spin, and softer feel.

All wedges can only be soft stepped. Hard stepping is not possible.

    Custom Ferrule(s)*

All custom ferrules come from our partner, Boyd Blade & Ferrule Co. (BB&F Co.)

*Custom Ferrule(s) installation is an exclusive service that must be completed in our build shop and could add an additional 5-7 days before your order is shipped. Pricing is shown per club.

The SST PURE service analyzes the structure of any golf shaft and identifies its most stable plane under load. When assembled in this SST PUREd® orientation, the result is improved consistency in both distance and accuracy from club to club.

    *Grip Wraps

Adding additional grip wraps helps to make the grip feel and play larger. This option is used when the best fit for a grip is in between sizes. In general, four wraps of tape is the equivalent to moving to the next size larger grip. Some golfers prefer the tape method of increasing grip size because it decreases the amount of taper felt on the lower hand when gripping the club.

    *Grip Graphics

Choose whether or not you would like the logo of your grip up (visible at address) or down (hidden at address).

Srixon ZXiR HL Irons

Higher Launch. More Forgiveness. Confidence From Every Lie.

The Srixon ZXiR HL Irons are engineered for golfers who want effortless launch, increased distance, and smooth turf interaction without sacrificing stability or feel. With a high-launch design, progressive perimeter weighting, and a refined cavity-back profile, these irons help get the ball up fast and land softly on greens while minimizing distance loss on off-center strikes.

Optimized low center of gravity and wider sole geometry make it easier to make crisp contact across a range of swings and lies. Combined with enhanced ball speed technology, the ZXiR HL Irons deliver a forgiving, playable set that boosts confidence from the first tee shot to delicate approaches.

Key Features

  • High-Launch Geometry
Designed to promote a higher flight and steeper landing angle, making it easier to hold greens and maximize carry distance.

  • Forgiving Cavity-Back Design
Perimeter weighting increases stability through impact, reducing distance loss on mishits and improving overall consistency.

  • Low CG and Wide Soles
Low center of gravity encourages easier launch, while wide sole design improves turf interaction and prevents digging.

  • Increased Ball Speed Across the Face
Face and internal weighting work together to generate strong ball speeds across the hitting area for more reliable distance.

  • Smooth Turf Flow
Sole geometry helps the club glide through the turf cleanly, making it easier to strike effectively from a variety of lies.

Who It’s For

Golfers with moderate to slower swing speeds or players who struggle to launch traditional irons high enough. If you want easy, confident launch with added forgiveness and smoother contact from the fairway and rough, the ZXiR HL Irons offer a performance-driven set that’s built to make your long game easier and more reliable.
