    Shaft Length

    Length is taken off of the grip end of the shaft and can be altered based on standard specifications. This alteration has no impact on the overall playability of the shaft.

    For most iron models, manufacturers offer lighter weight heads which can be used to keep the swingweight to a standard balance for club lengths up to +1/2″ longer. Anything longer than that and the swingweight will increase above the recommended balance. (As a rough calculation, every extra 1/2″ in length will increase the swingweight by 3 balance points).

    Tip Trim

    Choose whether or not you would the club end of your shaft tipped.  By doing this, you ultimately change the characteristics  to launch the ball lower and provide less spin by strengthening the dynamics of the shaft.

    The SST PURE service analyzes the structure of any golf shaft and identifies its most stable plane under load. When assembled in this SST PUREd® orientation, the result is improved consistency in both distance and accuracy from club to club.

    *Grip Wraps

    Adding additional grip wraps helps to make the grip feel and play larger. This option is used when the best fit for a grip is in between sizes. In general, four wraps of tape is the equivalent to moving to the next size larger grip. Some golfers prefer the tape method of increasing grip size because it decreases the amount of taper felt on the lower hand when gripping the club.

GLIDERAIL

Three large, tapered rails along the sole of each HALO XL Hybrid deliver optimal ball striking and clean turf interaction. Each rail is designed to gently glide straight through the turf so you can maintain clubhead speed and keep a square face through impact. Plus, they’re super helpful from the rough, or, any tough lie.

MAINFRAME XL

Every HALO XL Hybrid delivers max distance with added forgiveness, thanks to MainFrame XL. MainFrame XL uses a variable thickness face pattern that expands and reshapes the sweet spot for more energy transfer across the face. Inside the clubhead, Al helped us figure out the best spot to place weight pads for long, high-launching ball flight.

XL HEAD DESIGN

These reworked, XL Head Designs allow us to shift more mass away from the club’s center. This ups the MOI, delivering more forgiveness and consistency on every strike. They also feature our HiBore Crown Step, which brings the Center of Gravity even lower in the clubhead for longer, straighter ball flight. Plus, deeper faces create a larger, more forgiving striking area.

REBOUND FRAME

Unlike other clubs, HALO XL Hybrids have the unique ability to flex twice at impact thanks to Rebound Frame. Like a spring within a spring, Rebound Frame adds another ring of flexibility that sits just behind the face, supported by extra stiffness in the rear of the clubhead. At impact, these dual flex zones activate simultaneously, increasing the amount of energy transferred into the ball.

ACTION MASS CB

Action Mass CB places an 8-gram counterweight in the end of the shaft near the very top of your grip. The feel of added weight in your hands helps the club seem lighter, promoting a more stable, controlled backswing. It also helps promote a more inside swing path, squarer club face through impact, and, ultimately, straighter shots.
